Blackmagic Design for broadcast

Blackmagic manufacture a number of broadcast and cinema hardware products from high end digital movie cameras to video editing software such as DaVinci Resolve.

DaVinci resolve is a color grading and non linear editing application. This product is offered as a commercial product as well as a free edition.

Historically DaVinci Resolve was supplied as hardware control panels designed to integrate with the software via a tactile user interface. In recent years the product is available as software only, which has grown the global user base.

Resolve is used as a high-end color grading platform, aimed at the higher end of the market and is used on big-budget projects.

Resolve also includes Fusion, a set of embedded tools that enable the user to work in the full 3D space, with particle effects, warping, keying, color correction and painting.
